Whanganui River Māori Trust Board Elections

The term for the current Trust Board member’s ends on 19 February 2012 accordingly the following process will be implemented:

1. Nominations called for and advertised in the Whanganui Chronicle on Wednesday 19 and Saturday 22 of October 2011.

2. Nominations close 5.00pm Friday18 November 2011. If more than 9 nominations are received voting will occur.

3. Ballot papers will be sent out over the period 5 December to 16 December 2011. Voting will close 5.00pm Friday 13 January 2012.

The Board also calls upon such of its beneficiaries who are not enrolled, who have attained the age of 20 years, to obtain an Iwi Registration form and return to

before nominations close FRIDAY 18 NOVEMBER 2011. This is to ensure that you will be included in the roll of beneficiaries.
